Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, April 25, 2012 - Fortinet® (NASDAQ: FTNT) − a world leader in high-performance network security – today announced that it has ramped up operations in Vietnam with the appointment of two new distributors Viet Net and EGUARDIAN. In the next months, Fortinet will also hire its first account managers locally to accelerate penetration of key vertical markets.

Viet Net, led by Vietnamese industry veterans, and EGUARDIAN, a security-focused value-added distributor in Asia, will grow Fortinet's business in the country by recruiting reseller partners to expand the channel ecosystem, effectively interfacing between Fortinet and these resellers, and raising Fortinet's brand visibility among large enterprises. The distributors will also lead in training and motivating reseller partners, supporting customers across Fortinet's entire product range, and educating the market on IT security best practices.

Viet Net and EGUARDIAN, which take over from the previous distributor M.Tech, were chosen  because of their security expertise, experience in IT distribution and extensive network of reseller partners. M.Tech's current reseller partners will continue to work with Fortinet and the new distributors to fulfill customer requirements without disruption. Together with existing distributor Tech Horizon, Viet Net and EGUARDIAN will expand Fortinet's footprint in the country.

Dennis Aloysius Tan, Fortinet's Regional Channel Manager for Indochina and Country Manager for Singapore, said the company's investment in Vietnam is timely, as Indochina becomes the fastest growing zone in the Southeast Asian market.
