Hanoi, 15 May 2012: Sophie Paris, Asia's leading direct selling fashion brand, today announced its forthcoming expansion into the nation's capital, with a new showroom and office soon to be opened at Han Viet Tower 203 Minh Khai Street, Hai Ba Trưng District.

This follows incredible demand for the company's range of fashion products and accessories from women all over Vietnam's Northern provinces.

“Hanoi women have been beating down our doors to set up in the north.” said Nick Jonsson – Sophie Paris General Director.  “And now, with our business license in hand and fit-out well under way on our showroom , we are thrilled to be able to announce that Sophie Paris Vietnam will be up and running here by August.”

The company, which runs on a direct selling business model that has proven extremely popular for entrepreneurs all over Vietnam, already has a base of 6,000 members in Hanoi, and over 30,000 nationwide.

“We typically see monthly sales of around $100,000 from Vietnam's northern provinces, and so, based on what we have seen in other cities, we would expect to see that double once we are fully operational  in the coming year. ” continued Nick.

One of the key drivers of the phenomenal platform upon which Sophie Paris can build upon in Hanoi is Ms Nguyễn Thu Hương, who is already one of the company's top 5 members, and is thrilled about the forthcoming launch.

“I cannot wait until Sophie Paris opens the doors to its Hanoi showroom,” she said.  “The local presence here gives me a tremendous opportunity to further develop my Sophie business, to recruit more members, and ultimately to help drive Sophie to the top of the Hanoi fashion industry,”

“We believe in Vietnam, we believe in the entrepreneurial spirit of Ms Huong and the thousands of other Hanoians just like her who we meet every day, and we promise to keep investing and expanding in this market,”  said Nick.

The Hanoi opening comes at an exciting time for the company, which, after a remarkable first year of operations in Ho Chi Minh City, which saw it achieve double its projected sales and member targets, has also recently announced its intention to enter Danang.

“Members and customers can expect to see an exciting brand, which throws huge, traffic-stopping events and fashion shows several times a year with star studded line-ups and delightful themes,” said Nick.

Sophie Paris' lineup for Hanoi will include the range of bags which made the brand famous, as well as accessories, apparel, jewelry and watches, and the new ranges of lingerie and shoes to be launched nationally shortly.
