New Distributor Return Merchandize Authorization (DRMA) agreement ensures minimal business disruption for FortiCare 24×7 service customers, as faulty hardware parts can be replaced in hours instead of weeks

Ha Noi, 19 March 2018 − Fortinet® (NASDAQ: FTNT) − a global leader in broad, integrated and automated cybersecurity solutions – today announced that it has made a monumental improvement to customer service in terms of defective hardware parts replacement.

Subscribers of the vendor’s FortiCare 24×7 service used to have to wait at least 10 days to get their replacement hardware shipped from overseas − through Vietnam customs − to them. Thanks to a new DRMA agreement between Fortinet and its two local distributors Tech Horizon Corp and Viet Net Distribution JSC, common spare parts can now be stocked locally at the distributors’ premises. These parts can be delivered to Fortinet’s customers in most locations in the country in as little as four hours, getting their business back up and running quickly.

FortiCare 24×7 Service includes access to technical support on a 365x24x7 basis, as well as a next business day replacement service for hardware failures. Fortinet is one of the very few network security vendors in Vietnam today that can provide hardware replacement at this speed. Most other vendors still need to contend with customs clearance.
