Le Quyen and Le Hieu celebrate 10-year anniversary at Ho Tram Sound Waves

Reunited on the stage of Ho Tram Sound Waves a decade since the duet ‘Con đường màu xanh’ made them both stars, Le Quyen ahd Le Hieu performed a set that left the packed ballroom reminiscing on days gone by.
First to the stage was Le Hieu, whose singalong romantic classics included “Và tôi cũng yêu em”, “Về đây em” and “Cơn đau cuối cùng” and rounded out his set with the remix of “Ngày mai em đi” which was nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Song at ZMA 2017.
As the first notes of ‘Con đường màu xanh’ rang out, Le Hieu was joined on the stage by Le Quyen, who took his hand, smiled at the audience, and told the crowd that it has now been a decade since they first “held hands on the green road”.
Dressed in an long, elegant black dress, Le Quyen – the “Queen of the Tearoom” – walked audiences through a powerful set, performing “Nếu em được lựa chọn”, “Tình lỡ”, “Thu ca”, and “Ru em từng ngón xuân nồng”.
With its reputation for bringing Vietnam’s top talent enhanced, The Grand’s team now prepare for the Tuan Hung and Soobin Hoang Son to take to the stage on Saturday 30 June for the next installment of the Sound Waves series.
Stars to grace the stage this year include Thu Phuong and Bui Anh Tuan in January, Dam Vinh Hung in March; and Dan Truong and Huong Giang in April. 2017 saw starts including My Tam, Ho Ngoc Ha and Son Tung M-TP head to Ho Tram to enthrall and delight Sound Waves revelers.
