VIETNAM WELCOMES NEARLY 11M TOURISTS, AGODA REVEALS WHO’S COMING AND WHERE THEY GO

Following Vietnam’s milestone of nearly 11 million international visitors in the first half of 2025 – a 21% increase year-on-year, Agoda is delving deeper into its platform data and sharing its latest travel insights, revealing booking patterns across key markets. These insights highlight not only where travelers are coming from but also which destinations within Vietnam are attracting the highest volume of inbound visitors during the first six months of 2025.

According to the General Statistics Office (GSO) of Vietnam, South Korea and China are the top source markets in the first half, accounting for approximately 46% of inbound volume. Supporting this, Agoda data also reveals that South Korea and China maintains top 2 spots on their inbound traveller list, reflecting a strong and consistent interest from Korean and Chinese travelers. Notably, China has made a significant leap, climbing from 4th place in 2024 to 2nd in 2025, signaling a robust recovery and growing appeal among Chinese tourists. Meanwhile, Thailand has entered the top 5 for the first time in 2025.

The top destinations for international visitors in 2025 remain largely consistent with those of last year, with Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, and Hanoi continuing to lead. However, Phu Quoc Island has emerged as a new entrant, replacing Hoi An in the top 5. This shift underscores Phu Quoc’s growing popularity, likely driven by its stunning beaches and increased international flight connectivity from Seoul.

Breaking down further, South Korean travelers show a clear preference for coastal and island destinations. Nha Trang tops the list, followed closely by Da Nang and Phu Quoc Island, which are favored for their beaches and water activities. Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh City round out the top 5, offering a mix of cultural heritage and urban exploration.

Chinese travelers are drawn to Vietnam’s major urban centers and island getaways. Ho Chi Minh City leads as the top choice, followed by Hanoi with its rich history and cultural landmarks. Phu Quoc Island, Da Nang, and Nha Trang also rank high, appealing to those seeking a blend of relaxation and scenic beauty.

Đánh dấu cột mốc gần 11 triệu lượt khách quốc tế đến Việt Nam trong 6 tháng đầu năm 2025 , tăng 21% so với cùng kỳ năm ngoái, nền tảng du lịch kỹ thuật số Agoda đã phân tích dữ liệu và mang đến những góc nhìn mới về xu hướng đặt phòng của du khách quốc tế. Dữ liệu cho thấy thị trường khách quốc tế đến Việt Nam, cũng như các điểm đến thu hút nhiều lượt đặt phòng nhất trong nửa đầu năm nay.

Theo Tổng cục Thống kê Việt Nam, Hàn Quốc và Trung Quốc tiếp tục là hai thị trường gửi khách lớn nhất trong nửa đầu năm, chiếm khoảng 46% tổng lượng khách quốc tế. Dữ liệu từ Agoda cũng phản ánh xu hướng tương tự, với Hàn Quốc và Trung Quốc giữ vững hai vị trí dẫn đầu trong danh sách thị trường đến Việt Nam nhiều nhất, cho thấy sức hút ổn định từ hai quốc gia này. Đặc biệt, thị trường Trung Quốc đã có bước nhảy vọt, từ vị trí thứ 4 vào năm 2024 lên vị trí thứ 2 trong năm nay. Tín hiệu này thể hiện rõ nét sự phục hồi mạnh mẽ và sức hút ngày càng lớn của Việt Nam đối với du khách Trung Quốc. Bên cạnh đó, đây cũng là lần đầu tiên Thái Lan góp mặt trong Top 5 thị trường gửi khách quốc tế đến Việt Nam.

Danh sách các điểm đến được du khách quốc tế tìm kiếm nhiều nhất tại Việt Nam năm 2025 không thay đổi nhiều so với năm ngoái, với Đà Nẵng, TP. Hồ Chí Minh, Nha Trang và Hà Nội giữ vững vị trí hàng đầu. Tuy nhiên, đảo Phú Quốc đã vươn lên thay thế Hội An trong top 5, phản ánh sự gia tăng sức hút của hòn đảo này, nhờ vào cảnh sắc thiên nhiên tuyệt đẹp và các đường bay quốc tế, đặc biệt từ Seoul, ngày càng thuận tiện hơn.

Bên cạnh đó, dữ liệu từ Agoda còn cho thấy du khách Hàn Quốc có xu hướng yêu thích các điểm đến ven biển và đảo. Nha Trang dẫn đầu danh sách, theo sau là Đà Nẵng và Phú Quốc, nơi nổi tiếng với bãi biển đẹp và nhiều hoạt động giải trí trên biển. Hội An và TP. Hồ Chí Minh cũng nằm danh sách Top 5 nhờ kết hợp hài hòa giữa nét văn hóa truyền thống và sự sôi động hiện đại.

Trong khi đó, du khách Trung Quốc lại có xu hướng ưu tiên các đô thị lớn và những địa điểm nghỉ dưỡng trên đảo. TP. Hồ Chí Minh dẫn đầu danh sách, tiếp theo là Hà Nội với nét đẹp cổ kính và các công trình văn hóa. Phú Quốc, Đà Nẵng và Nha Trang cũng nằm trong danh sách yêu thích, nhờ mang lại trải nghiệm kết hợp giữa thư giãn và khám phá phong cảnh thiên nhiên.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

The Graphic Designer  will be responsible for creating visual elements, such as images, illustrations, and text, to communicate messages through digital, print, and other types of media.  

 

Experience:  2 years at minimum

Employment Type: Full time

 

SCOPE OF WORK

– Design advertising assets for marketing materials, digital banner/illustration for social channels, marketing documents

– Support editing, creating effects, video clips at basic functions

– Support activities that require proper visual such as Photography, filming, set-up, ..

– Support internal team to generate design ideas for content and marketing layout

 

QUALIFICATIONS

– At least 2-year experiences working in the same position (experience in agency is a plus)

– Excel in design software like Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign

– Able to convey message / idea into design

 – Must have an creative “eye” to match client’s design guideline/style

– Supportive  and Proactive in working with minimum supervision

– Able to work under pressure to meet deadline

– English speaking is preferable

 

VIETNAMESE COPY WRITER

  • Experience in either editorial or creative copywriting
  • Existing media network would be advantageous
  • Ability to write on varied topics and for varied media (including traditional, social, online, web and so forth)

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

This position supports senior staff with agency’s client work across a diverse range of sectors. Not only will creative writing and translating skills need to be qualified but Account Executive also needs a good grasp of online social media practices.

SCOPE OF WORK

  • Monitoring  news on newspapers, magazines, online media for opportunities for clients
  • Preparing client reports by daily, weekly, monthly
  • Developing media materials, including news releases, client meeting summaries, articles quarterly/annual report and other written materials in English and Vietnamese
  • Supporting planning, developing and implementing PR plan
  • Building and maintaining media relations
  • Preparing and supervising the production of promotional videos, photographs, and multimedia programs upon request;
  • Supporting  organizing and managing client events, including press conferences, media tour,  promotional client events
  • Managing vendors to control production quality  on behalf of client
  • Collating, analyzing and measuring coverage outcomes

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proactive, quick minded, attention to details personality
  • Good copy writing skill
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Vietnamese
  • Have the interest and drive to learn how to master the core skills and capabilities needed to deliver all aspects of a campaign
  • Design experience would be an advantage
  • Related experience in agency environment preferred
  • Willing to travel when requested

 

 

 

ACCOUNT MANAGER

This position is a key member of the team involving and managing multiple client accounts. While leading and supervising junior staff’s workload, Consultant (or as Account Manager) will be also seen directly managing (or supporting Senior Consultant with) wide range of clients, handling their public reputation through different PR campaigns.

Experience:  A minimum of 3-5 year PR experience in working in Corporate or Agency

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Structuring and implementing PR campaigns and media content, aligning them with the client’s key business objectives
  • Develop media materials, including news releases, articles and other written materials
  • Develop and maintain relationship with media network
  • Liaise with clients and act as key point of contact in support of senior consultants
  • Identify new business opportunities, and sell ideas, promotions and features to clients
  • Manage workloads of multiple projects
  • Organize and manage client events, including press conferences, media tour, promotional client events
  • Manage and supervise the production of promotional videos, photographs, and multimedia programmes upon request;
  • Supervise Account Executive’s workload, provide leadership and direction to the team on key activities and campaigns.
  • Keep track of impending deadlines and ensure all work is completed in a timely manner
  • Ensure all work is completed on time and within budget
  • Track and reconcile project fee and expense budgets
  • Assist in the reporting, analysis and evaluation of PR campaigns
  • Monitor news on newspapers, magazines, online media for opportunities for clients

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong management skill towards Client, Staff, Media, Vendors, Events
  • Have relationships with press and Government contacts
  • Good understanding of social media
